A five mile radius of this location does not have Alltel Service. I know of a few customers that switched to US Cellular who recently covered this area with service and is the only carrier that has coverage there.

Alltel for over a year. Reception poor to none. Watched a new tower just built near intersection of NC 111 and NC 55. Interestingly, it's a US Cellular tower. Appears Alltel has no intention of filling gaps in rural areas, but USCC does. Looking at a switch ASAP.

cannot get phone calls or send calls from this area. I may get a call if I am in the 2nd story of my house. Other than that I can not get a signal. I was a customer of US cell for 10 years and recently changed to AT&T. I have family in the same area that have Alltell and can not get a signal at all. US does very well in this area. I have been very dissatisfied with my service with AT&T.

Reception is great at my home. I have noticed that traveling around the Bucklesberry area my calls sometimes get dropped. Reception overall is much better than a year ago.
