	Verizon works great all around Sylva, Webster, WCU and Cullowhee areas into Caney Fork and up to Cashiers. No Problems anywhere in WNC except most remote areas.

	My phone works OK if I am in down town Sylva. At the house it is useless as is my son's Motorola also on Cingular. My wife's phone on US Cellular seems to work everywhere and it is some ancient model. Cingular really needs to get with the program!

	Verizon has Cullowhee and Sylva covered near perfectly. As of Spring 2005 Verizon has installed two towers on the WCU campus. I get decent, though sometimes spotty coverage going through 'the gorge' on I-40 on the NC / TN line. Coverage in Gatlinburg is perfect. Spotty coverage while traveling between Cherokee and Gatlinburg through the national park. There are plans to build a Cingular tower on the WCU campus but as of Summer 2005 there are no current towers going up. Overall Cingular's coverage is horrible unless you're in a decent city (Asheville, Waynesville)
