	By far in this area, Hickory, Lenoir and Morganton, Alltel has the best and ONLY reliable service in the area. NEVER drops calls and text / data usage is awesome. Thumbs up to the little carrier that can. Friends with Verizon (droids) complain constantly of dropped calls and searching for signal. Seems quite odd considering majority of towers belong to Verizon. For the record, my Alltel wasn't absorbed into the Verizon mix... ..yayyyyy! :-)

	If you live in Valdese, DO NOT get T-mobile. Their service is terrible here. Several spots where there's no reception at all.
