Sprint offered the Airave free of charge due to no reception in our house. One mile radius there is no reception, we just have to make sure the internet is running to run the airave and finish all phone calls before we get to mile radius of the house. Towers are located within one mile but Sprint refuses to use the tower and pay the fees. I keep getting the song and dance from Sprint that they will be building more towers soon, that was 4 years ago. I am jumpsing ship as soon as my contract is up but I am afraid no one gets good service out there for 28173

A disgraceful service in this modern age of communications. ATT is best defined by its mastering of the drop call, endless battle to make a call. Their claim of the fastest network is just that, a claim and is not supported by results. We argued for weeks with ATT until they finally capitulated and gave us a "microcell" for our home. It does work, it provides many bars of signal but herein lies the problem where if the "network" drops your call it really doesn't matter much how much radio connectivity you have. I travel for a living, can say with great confidence that my iphone / ATT works best when in a foreign country, China, Holland, Germany or Brazil or similar. When in the USA, roll your dice!

Totally bogus, no 3g, but that isn't the real problem here. At the end of the driveway I have 2 bars - no service. Dr.into downtown (by Lowes) and I have 4 or 5 bars - yet still no service.. This blows.

Have 3 bars if standing by window, then go to make call it drops to 1 or no signal. I too have noticed that this just started occurring within the past year. My sister has Verizon, and she has the same problem. It's funny that AT&T has Iphone 4, and Verizon had Droid debuts approx. 6-8 months after this total decrease in reception. When I complained to AT&T their answer was to buy a new iphone 4. No shock there. I think it's just war of the cell phone worlds.!!1

Phone rings in my home, but I can't talk, receive or send text. Have to stand in the middle of the drive-way to use the phone. My LG has TV and since we've moved here I can't pick up reception very well any where in the Waxhax / Weddington area. Just as someone else commented, there is a cell tower nearby, why doesn't it work? My husband has Verizon and it works a little better, does anyone know how Sprint works in North Carolina?

Great reception with the Motorola and LG 275 AX, but tried another off-name brand and got zero.

Generally lucky to get any signal at all. My wife has Verizon and although she gets a weak signal, we can always send and receive calls on it.

Cingular is absolutely terrible where I live. There are about 3 dead spots in a 1 mile radius of where I live. I have little to no reception at my home address. I switched to SunCom after my 2 year contract expired and it has great reception in my area. Go figure--has not dropped a call yet

ill get reception of sun com but Cingular is bad unless I go to the end of my drive way I have cell phone towers right infront of my neighborhood? What providers are they
