Reception is horrible and customer service is worse. Whether I'm in the house, or in my car, calls are dropped both on Holding Young and Cedar Creek Roads.

Alltel / Verizon have the best coverage for these more rural areas. Just gotta make sure you have a phone with good ratings from it's antenna! Once we switched to our Blackberrys we've had the best signal every and haven't dropped or missed a call yet! Visitors to our home that don't have Alltel or Verizon never get service or it's a horrible reception. Sprint works out here, but they are on / off because of tower signals crossing? At least that was the excuse they gave my Mom. She's switching back to Alltel as soon as her contract expires.

We've had Sprint, Cingular and Alltel and Alltel by far had the best coverage. We are in the back of our neighborhood and our house sits lower than the street level. Once we changed our phones from Razors to HTC Touch - we had the WORST coverage! Not only at our house - but everywhere! Their antenna stink! Switched to a Blackberry and have not lost / miss a call since!

Reception poor at best - 0-1 bars in building, must go outside to make or receive calls, or dropped call is guaranteed. 1 Bar outside on a good day, but dropped calls still likely. Same problem with Nokia 6235i previously. Alltel needs to improve service for all of this area - co-workers on Verizon report similar, but slightly better reception (not surprising, since Alltel and Verizon supposedly have a shared roaming aggreement) - Nextel is definitely better in Youngsville, according to observed co-worker use here.
