Got great 3G reception at home, but calls dropped all the time. Took the phone back after 2 days and went back to Sprint. ATT customer service needs some work also.
Ok, so occasionally, I can get 1-2 bars if I go upstairs. My mother and sister who have alltel... Perfect reception. When we called and asked about the inconsistency, we were told "there are plenty of towers, it just must be your phone." My mother has the SAME PHONE! Thanks AT&T. Really.
Reception is hit-and-miss in most buildings... unless I'm right by a large window. Reception is good around Bellevue / Omha area. Once you get out of city limits the number of bars drops fairly quickly. But for the price I can't complain.
I've had AT&T now for over 2 years and the reception has been horrible the entire time. I had used the company before and really liked them, but for some reason, this area of town (Olde Towne Bellevue by the air force base) is just awful when trying to get any service. I literally had to lay on my couch any time I wanted to talk to someone and for random reasons without me moving, my friends would say I was breaking up so I'd move my head a little to the left or right and then they could hear me again. I went and cancelled my service yesterday and plan on trying someone else. I just can't take the horrible reception anymore and frankly, I don't care what their reason! It's a pain trying to keep in touch with friends when the phone is so dang picky. When I cancelled the service, I asked the girl at the store if there were a lot of people that complained about bad reception and she said yes. That should tell you something.
T-Mobile has HORRIBLE reception in the entire Omaha area. We cannot even get a signal from our apartment on Fort Crook and Galvin -- it always says, "Searching", "No signal", "Emergency Calls Only," etc. Don't get T-Mobile here!
Little or no reception. Constant dropped calls. I laugh everytime I see an AT&T commercial come on "The All Over Network With The Least Dropped Calls" YEAH RIGHT! I used to call and complain but they do nothing about it, so I just gave up. They are the absolute worst. When I'm on the phone I can only understand every other word someone is saying. Thank God my contract ends next week. It has been a long and frustrating 2 years with AT&T. I'm switching to Verizon.
There's a reason why the TV commercials for Verizon, show everybody standing outside, using their cell phone. They don't guarantee servise inside of buildings. Including, my wood frame house. Which, is in a different location, but I still lose the signal if I walk to the wrong part of the house.
