Poor to No recpetion but reliable in other areas then Clearwater, Ewing, Barlett, Chambers and probably more areas i'm forgetting about. The cell tower in Clearwater is for Viaero who are putting up 5 towers in this area. I'm hoping that since all the others I know are switching to Viaero due to better coverage that Alltel will pick up the pace and get better coverage in this area. I'm not sure if trusting Viaero for service is so hot of an idea, I heard the York and Grand Island offices picked up and left. Nasty rumors? could be... .

The reception up here is horrible. The only way to receive incoming calls is to go to our upstairs. Same way with dialing out. I agree with what the farmer from Ewing, NE said, this area sucks for service!

I live in Clearwater and I hear we might be getting a cell tower near here. I have a suspicion it's another small town rumor, but wouldn't that be nice?!?!?! I'm lucky to get a bar or 2 here and there with my phone, and when I send a text message my phone drops signal, Alltel tells me it's becuz we have such poor signal here but I'm still scratching my head as to why it does the same thing while in Norfolk... ..hmmm??? I prefer Alltel over CellOne who a few years ago overcharged me every month I had their service and I had to call them to straighten it out, after being on hold for an hour and talking to a 100 people they finaly fixed it, for that month. I saved money by ditching them. I pray for tower fairies to set up soon... ... .for as much as I pay Alltel in one month they should come do my dishes once a day!
