Hemingford is not considered worthy of decent tower coverage by alltel. They are in the dark ages when it comes to Alltel cellular signal... .the local competitor, viaero works great in that town and surrounding rural area...

Reception on Alltel is poor. The closest tower is 6.5 mi northeast of Hemingford, which puts the whole town right on the fringe of the service area. Completely unusable in the school / park / nursing home areas. It's 2006 Alltel, can't we do better than this? Viaero has much stronger coverage locally, but roaming options are very limited outside of the most populated areas of western and southern Nebraska.
