I live in Tekamah, NE in town with Verizon service. Yes, we get excellent reception in town. Go west into the hills, and east along the Missouri River, it gets spotty with dead zones. Dead zone between Herman and Blair for a couple of miles. Dead zone between Tekamah and Decatur a couple of miles. T-Mobile is bad reception or nothing at all in Tekamah, but okay in Blair. AT&T bad reception or nothing at all in Tekamah and surrounding areas. When we had Sprint, it was zero reception in Blair. Couldn't even listen to voicemail until you left Blair entirely. We loved Alltel when we had it. Verizon has become such a rip off with extra charges and fees, and customer service is terrible. They will charge you disconnection fees on each line when you are less than 2 weeks behind on your bill. The phones are poor quality. Calls get dropped all the time. When you drop down to a plan with less minutes, you lose your Friends and Family.

I get perfect reception in Tekamaha with Alltel when I had Sprint only 1 or 2 bars
