This post refers to using my TracFone on US Cellular towers. Very good signal for Tracfone, assume same for US Cellular is the same. Never lost signal for more than about a half mile here and there, as I ducked into known valleys. Makes me regret using other phones and other carriers!

Usually 2 to 3 bars in the house. Dropped calls about 1 in 20. Decent coverage in the area, and expecting improvements soon as VZW just purchased the owner of Unicel (Unicel towers caused me to be dropped from AT&T). Rt 28: Decent coverage. Note: There is no EVDO in the area.

Usually 1 to 3 bars in the house. Rarely a dropped call until 3+ hours into the call, then all calls were dropped - 3 hour time limit? Decent service until AT&T notified me I was off network too much. I went off network because Unicel (told me they) erected antennas in the area and after that my phone simply used Unicels towers more than AT&Ts towers. Not my fault, but thats physics for ya! Rt 28: No coverage from Pineo Rd.Center Barnstead to the Ballfields in Chichester. On rare days, the loss of coverage would shrink to a smaller stretch, but I never had coverage for all of the area I described above. All of 28 in Pittsfield was always dead.

From the town line Alton (Route 28) all the way down Route 16 through New Durham, Farmington, etc. through Rochester into Somersworth is all roaming. There is no service by US Cellular on the Seacoast and that is awful!

no service with t mobile even though was shown a great reception map. I guess my complaint is not so much the phone but the salesmen at the mall that outright lied to make a sale and now I am having to prove I returned the phone. I have had good luck with US CELLULAR and will stick with them.

NH RT 28 from Pineo Rd.Center Barnstead to Bear Hill road Chichester is a dead zone. It shrinks a bit from time to time, as atmospherics may permit better distances from the tower, but NH RT 28 in Pittsfield NEVER had coverage.
