get decent decent signal at my grandmas apartment (its high up) and its good data reception using 1x. i lived in Charlestown and the signal there sucked it was like 1 or 2 bars and I had to be outside to use SMS or data without the chance of getting disconnected.

Sprint has horrible coverage in Charlestown NH and it ain't my phone. usually 1 or 2 bars and the signal is from Walpole and when i'm in walpole (next to charlestown) i get 4 or 5 bars sometimes 3 though. but still my phone gets 1x in Charlestown and Walpole as my phone is CDMA and possibly 3G wasn't near.

Charlestown area reception is horrible. All around Old Claremont Rd.from the Fling Rd / Acworth Rd / Old Claremont Rd intersection all the way to 12A / Old Claremont Rd is roaming, at 1 bar. Downtown blips in and out of 1 bar on 1X, and forget Springfield. Unless you're within visual sight of I-91, there's hardly coverage worth talking on. It sounds like a fishbowl with scratches. I know it's not the phone, as I've found reviews and when the bars are high, such as up and down the highway, the call clarity is phenomenal. We got sucked in after Unicel sold us out, now we're looking at jumping ship to U.S. Cellular.

I occaisonally have one bar but mostly its no signal. You can make a call but within 20 seconds it drops the call if not sooner. I saw in the eagle times there is a rekindled proposal for a new tower on taylor hill rd. I hope its approved!

In Charlestown, US Cellular reception is spotty at best, and most calls drop at some point during the conversation even in some of the "best" spots. North Walpole, Walpole, Bellows Falls VT, Keene NH and Claremont NH I can get full service in 90% of the area. In the majority of Charlestown, and also in my house on River St., I get a very unsteady 1 bar digital / 2 bars analog, enough to have the phone ring, but not be able to answer it. Not good at all... will someone PLEASE put another tower somewhere closer to us than Claremont?!

POOR service. Had excellent service when we had Unicel but it was taken over by Verizon. 1x sometimes... ..most of the time "no phone" icon. Talked to tech today (on my home phone) and they are going to troubleshoot the area but that may take 3 days. I was told that they have a working tower 1 1 / 2 miles from here. My opinion on that is... there might be but is it a working tower? Other people using Verizon but having other models of phones have visited here and they ALL have poor service. I don't know who we will go with if we drop Verizon. Had U S Cellular years ago and that was horrible.
