Once go get of Rt. 4 and hit South Rd.reception becomes spotty. Lately we have been able to get 1 bar outside the hosue. We are thinking about a cell phone signal repeater that will rebroadcast the signal in our house from an outside antenna... about $300. Still not sure if the signal would be strong enough to get 3G for internet. The only other option is to do the microwave internet through wavecomm... that we can go to verizion (other carries sell similar product) and get their in-home mini cell tower product... trick is it needs a 300KB network connection but would be a very strong signal in house. This way we eliminate the 50 / mo landline and pay 40 / mo for wavecomm internet... there is a big upfront fee of about $500 for both products with wavecomm and verizon... other idea is to just test the cell repeater but then the internet card through Verizon is $60...

I need to drive into Hanover to get any signal at all.
