My droid reception is crappy. My Husband's phone (don't know what it is) has ok reception. We bought a signal booster, worked for a few weeks, then... ..it stopped working. We tried to re-set it, re-boot it, whatever, and still nothing. After multiple calls, (multipe!) VW says that there has been a reception problem in our area and they are working on resolving it. Hmmm. We are surrounded by hills, but we cannot understand why it would work one week and not the next. It's kind of hard to understand why they did not say with the first call to VW that there was a problem in our area. Well that's what you get with big companies, a lot of runaround. We'll see if it gets resolved. I hate to have paid all this money for the booster, and all the money we pay each month for just about non-existent service.

I can hear fine, but the other end is very choppy. Have to go outside and point towards the race track where there is a tower in order to get some reception. Can not talk long because of continual dropped calls. I have been advised to try verizon, but I fear they will be no better as the signal comes from the same tower which is 7 miles away. Looked into external antennas (good luck trying to find one) and signal boosters (might work for $300).

Have to practically climb a tree to get any reception, and then the call is dropped. US Cellular, and Verizon have been expensive with very little satisfaction.
