Excellent average, pulling between 20 and 35mbs download depending on weather and traffic, obviously. Not bad at all. Wi-Fi Calling is the bonus with T-Mobile. Thumbs up, they have done an excellent job growing their brand and coverage. I am a satisfied customer of T-Mobile for over 2 years now. Verizon is overpriced. AT&T is just horrible to deal with. And Sprint is well... ..Sprint.Was this review helpful to you?
This is a major tourist destination with a large year round population and cell service is horrible, iPhones get one to two bars, same in Stratham, ExeterWas this review helpful to you?
You would think being a tourist destination, Hampton would have excellent AT&T service but it doesn't. Along Route 1 from Lamie's into North Hampton around Home Depot, I get maybe one bar of 4G! Forget getting LTE coverage. The same goes for the neighborhoods around Mace Road. I live in Exeter now near Exit 12 and thankfully have LTE coverage even inside. Was this review helpful to you?
Verizon - no bars - no voice messages even two identical phones with same service in same room - texting no problem. Was this review helpful to you?
I left my original review on 8 / 29 / 11 below. Have since moved within town. Signal strength: -97 dBm BUT I JUST did a data speed test. 62ms ping, 28.23 Mbps down and 5.16 Mbps up. LTE baby! As of today, reports are coming in of LTE coverage as far north as the bridge between Dover and Newington. I had an LTE signal at Target in Greenland last night. AT&T is still too expensive but its network just keeps getting better in this area. Was this review helpful to you?
No reception at all inside. Outside I have to walk around to find 2 bars and when I do I can't move or I will lose the call. It's terrible! Was this review helpful to you?

Inside test. Signal strength of -101 dBM (closer to zero is best). ***Bars don't tell you anything because the change in signal strength from 4 to 5 bars varies depending on your device*** Ping is 137ms / down is 0.88 Mbps (or 880 Kbps) / up is 0.17 Mbps. If I go 1.7 miles up Rte one to N. Hampton (Home Depot / Staples) I get around 2-3 Mbps, even inside a building. I was able to stream on Netflix without issue at those speeds. AT&T signal is quite good WHEN it is good which, unfortunately, is not consistently enough. Still I have unlimited data (grandfathered) so for now I will stay. Was this review helpful to you?
