In my house I get maybe 1 bar if I stand near a window in the kitchen, that's it... Driving down route 3A, a call gets dropped near Hackett Hill Rd. Don't even try to go over through Hooksett into Bow, you lose all reception completely.

About 2 weeks ago the T-Mobile service in my home went downhill. For the last 3.5 years I've had one to three bars, two on average, within the house. The phone worked perfectly in my walkout basement, rarely any dropped calls. I was a very happy customer. Suddenly I'm lucky to get one bar in the house, often I have no service at all. It would rapidly go from no bars to 2 or even 3, then back to 1 or none. First we replaced the SIM card. It didn't help. Then I upgraded the phone to the new Samsung :) Smile, a 3G phone. The T-Mobile coverage map shows this neighborhood is well covered by 3G. There are one or two bars of service outside my house, and 3G most, but not all, of the time. Unfortunately when I move inside the house the signal strength goes between no bars and one. The Internet access often fails. Most of the time it's using the old / show 2G EDGE network. I only saw the 3G icon once or twice. Something has changed in T-Mobile's coverage. Their Technical Ops have checked twice and claim there's no problem. It appears that signal strength is OK outside, but it's not strong enough inside houses. I believe their tower is at the VA Hospital site. There are two new cell towers there, but oddly they're shorter than the big water tower on the site, and they're located too close to the water tower. It must be interfering with the signals north of the site.

I have been experiencing what I call digital dropouts for the past few weeks. I blamed it on my new Droid 2, but went back the old EnV and have the same issue. Has something changed in Hooksett for Verizon's coverage? The worst incident was not at home, but at work, at the Union Leader building on Industrial Dr.in Manchester. The signal is strong, but as I listen, little bits of sound go blank, making it very difficult to make out what people are saying. This came to a head on Oct. 14 when my daughter was in a car collision and I could not make out phone numbers or addresses due to the dropouts.
