By the end of this month, Verizon will have finished installing a new cell site at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Memorial Hospital. :)

Surprisingly bad reception on Interstate 89, where you would expect good service. Driving from Newport (Rt 10) to Lebanon / White River area, the Roaming Signal Alert makes so much noise that you don't NEED an MP3 player. Mostly no signal on Rt 10, mostly roaming from Exit 13 to 18. By Exit 19, I'm so angry that they can hear me yelling at Exit 20 anyway, cell phone or not. And I'm only 4 days into the 30 day trial with Sprint. So far, I'd say the phone si got is excellent as long as you don't expect to talk to anyone on it.. and is it my imagination or do cell phones get worse each year? More bells / whistles, but less substance. I didn't like the weight, but I miss the call clarity of my old brick phone..

Verizon is the best. No dropped calls (had some on a cheaper phone though) and MORE NEW TOWERS... I can go from lebanon to Wells River and talk ALMOST all the way..Keep it up Verizon!

Verizon Wireless is GREAT in almost all of lebanon and all of west lebanon. A couple dead spots but hey - this is new england can't be 100% everywhere! Verizon Rocks!

Since Verizon seems to have added their own service and stopped preferred roaming on US cellular, coverage has been great. Great coverage everywhere in the Valley except for this dead spot near the intersection of rt. 120 and Greensboro Rd in Hanover.

In town is good, but as you head farther south there's no service. A friend has had luck with a Motorola phone from US Cellular.

T-Mobile has very flaky coverage in the Lebanon / Hanove region. Cell phones are useless. I have heard only U.S Cellular works. But it does not work anywhere else in the country!

The reception is good outside, but very poor in buildings and unusable in buildings at times. May switch to roaming.
