	I was getting tired of slow dial up, so I went to Verizon and purchased a usb modem. It cost 60 dollars a month. If you are stuck with slow dial up where dsl is not available go to Verizon. A great thing about this modem is that you can travel with it, and even use it in the car. That is a feature not offered through satellite internet.

	In this area Verizon always was roaming, but now the have constructed a tower on pine mtn. in Gorham, NH and there is great signal here. The Verizon tower covers a lot more area than the US Cellular tower on cates hill in Berlin,NH. There is also 1 bar of signal at success pond, which is over 25 miles from the tower.
