For the most part, wherever I go I get between 3 and 5 bars on my phone, with 4 being average. I live in a small town in the southern part of New Hampshire, and rarely have signal so low that I can't make a call (with the exception of areas surrounded by tall rock formations ). The only time I really have problems in the area is going over Temple mountain to Peterborough, where the reception is so bad in most places that I have to turn my phone off to preserve the battery (it spends all its time 'searching for signal). At my office in Salem, reception is 4 bars in the building, and sometimes 5 outside.

Coming from Nashua, I get perfect phone service along 101A until I get out near Milford. My apartment is right on the Oval and all I can get there is Roaming! It's so bad that I am going to have to switch phone providers from Cingular because if I can't use my phone where I live now there's no point in having it.

2 or 3 bars of GPRS service on the West end of Milford. No service in Market Basket plaza. Most all of Milford is suitable with the Oval being the weakest with a single bar. Enter any of the oval buisness' and typically lose service. I can keep a call active to Manchester via Rt 101 and have normally spotty service west on Rt 101 to Keene with enough service to be satistifed. Unknown on local antenna location.

No reception inside the Shaws on 101A in Milford. Also no reception with Cingular / MPX220 in that store. Had great reception with US Cellular / Nokia there.

Inside the building I had no bars.
