Since Oct 1, I've had 1-2 bars at best IN MY HOME! Apple gave me a new phone, thinking it was that... NOT! It's the reception in my home! WTH! It's been perfect until a few weeks ago, after 2 hours at Apple and 3 hours with AT&T they told me "Oh, one of our towers has been down but it's saying it's up now"... WTH, I wouldn't have wasted 5 hours had they told me that from the beginning! I have 2 trouble tickets logged, but any suggestions in the meantime? Get Verizon is one of them!

1 bar at most. 0 bars and phone unusable inside house on any floor. Outside signal goes to 0 to 1 and tnen is marginally useful on Ferry Rd. until reaching St. Laurent St. There it goes up to 2-3 bars and becomes reliable along the Rte 101 and Everett Tpk corridors.

Reception is terrible in and around my house just minutes from a major highway. I have noticed that the signal strength drops considerably as soon as you enter NH from MA on Rt 3. This was the case 5+ years ago with Cingular as well. It would go from Cingular to a version of Roaming Cingular.

My phone usually get 3-4 bars at home and about the same outside. The only problem I seem to have though is as I travel around Nashua I do get many dropped calls. I've come to learn that I will most definitely loose my call as I take exit 1 Spit Brook off of Route 3. It never fails. I grown accustomed to this I guess. As I head toward Spit Brook, I usually end my calls and wait until I am past Spit Brook before I make another call. I don't think my reception in Nashua would be as good if I had anything other than this W600i phone from Sony Ericsson. I don't really know what is special about it but everyone else I know in the area gets very bad reception using Att&t

There has been abosolutely no change in the reception for last couple of years. I was in the hunt for better service in this area, but from all the postings it seems that land line is the best option.

There was always a deadzone on Ridge, but it cleared up once you got to Spitbrook (near 3 ramp) or Main Dunstable (at the other end). It used to be Verizon was worse on the LG440. Had Treo 600 and 650 over the last 2 years. That has changed. Whole area is a deadzone now for Cingular. I get NO SERVICE in a 6 - 7 mile radius. Works fine in other areas and phone is only 3 weeks old (got a replacement treo). Called Cingular. They claim they are aware there is a problem (yellow alert noted by agent... uh-huh). She believes it is because Cingular and AT&T have finally integrated towers in the area. Have a tech call in to see if this is going to improve or what. So coverage is now worse? Will probably end up switching to Verizon (my wife's RAZR has no issue).

Customer support person did not try anything and said it will be like that, well you are getting signal other than your house use that..what a customer service ??? thinking of switching carrier but I may lose my activation charge..waste of time and money.

Essentially zero reception most of the time. Rarely get one bar, and can't place outgoing calls. Incoming calls infrequently received. Recently purchased a new T-Mobile phone. Still have only one bar, but can place and receive calls.

What a mistake getting stuck to Cingular til Oct 2006. Moved from MA and ported old number on the cell. Boy do I regret it. Cingular sucks in the whole city of Nashua--including major stores. No signal in interior parts at all. Called Cingular but no use... ..

Problems with Cingular reception in many many areas. Their customer service keeps suggesting that I migrate to Cingular from ATT Wireless. Checking into this further, I would have to give up alot of my minutes in my current plan and purchase yet another telephone to that will work with Cingulars wireless system.. I just don't get it. Can someone say "Customer Service"
