We are in a pocket where you can make calls without error on the front lawn (not so great for business calls!) and 50% of the time from within the house or the backyard. When not out on the lawn, most calls get dropped after about a minute or so... very frustrating.. I'm making an assumption that there are Cingular towers at the UNH campus in Durham and more further west on Route 4 (maybe near the 202a intersection).. We're right in between with sporadic coverage. My old cell carrier was Sprint and I had the exact same issue.. I'm assuming they share towers around here... Haven't tried Verizon yet, but I may have to make a switch if I expect to be able to use my cell at home.

I live in a rd parallel to route 4. and the reception is awful at best inside the home and average outside. the reception again differs in seasons. the winter the reception is a little but better inside, and average outside. and the summer it is almost non-existent inside and average outside. sometimes it is erratic in both places

Nextel service is great in some areas and non-existent in others. Downtown Nottingham has no reception. Along Rt 125 reception is usually very good.
