For three years good service. Since FairPoint took over the land lines from Verizon service stinks. Is there a connection? n Obsolete long distance AT&T MW tower is being dismantled nearby. Verizon will not say if they piggybacked equipment on it. No technical explaination amounts to fraud in that they reneged on the delivery of their product after the fact.

For three years service was excellent. Since FairPoint took over the land operation for Verizon there is essentially no service. An obsolete short haul long distance microwave tower used by AT&T was / is being dismantled. It is possible that wireless equipment was piggybacked on that tower. Verizon will not give a technical explaination for the change. I say this amounts to fraud. That is, they sold something for value and then they withdrew the value received by the customer. In a normal tranaction the seller would be liable for a tort at a minimum.

Great near 121a / 111, and at home. Deep into Sandown, nothing... 0 bars. Along 121 in Atkinson there is about a 1 mile run with 0 bars, it's 5 bars before that mile and after? Odd, but true. Along 121a, there is a few drop spots, but otherwise ok. South of NH (in MA) it's always been 3+ everywhere.

I've had pretty much all the providers at one time or another. I've had Cingular for almost 4 years now and they seem to be the best for the area. I have no problems through Sandown, while many other carriers fail. I find it's the phone coupled with the carrier. They are most definately not the same. I find Samsung and Nokia work the best for the area. Also, the more junk (oops... features) the less reception. If you can live without phones that make coffee, churn butter and play music while you talk the better off you are. I work deep in Mass, close to the Conn border and only hav 2 places where coverage can be spotty at time. Even these only last for 1 / 2 mile or so.

Cingular has HORRIBLE converage in this whole area. I easily drop calls 6-7 times while driving to the store. I am going to be switching to Verizon this friday since my contract expires (thank god).
