Phone has AT&T SIMS card / GSM. I get 0 to 2 bars indoors (usually no service) which is about 1 / 3 block from intersection (on Colonial DR). Bars become 2 to 4 after stepping out about half way to side walk. Other parts of town better. Tried a CDMA Tracfone (LG 501C) probably tied to Verizon, somewhat better but still inconsistent (0 to 3 bars indoors).

Rarely stay connected indoors, and it's not much better outside.

I get no service in school unless the phone is still for over 1 minute, I also get no service AT ALL inside my house or around it, and customer service is horrible.

ATT GSM is not too bad here on buck rd. the signal and voice quality is satisfactory while T-Mobile is definitely dead--no service at all. Both ATT GSM and Cingular are good here. I tried to roam onto Cingular and the signal seems pretty strong. never got a chance to talk on Cingular network tho, because AT&T is so strong that my phone always switches right back to att's network.

Given the huge nuber of medical facilities along Cranbury Rd, it's amazing that the reception is so poor. Should be a public safety issue. I drive daily to and from the Post Office and cannot sustain a conversation on the whole length of Cranbury Rd from Rt 18 to the Post office.

Very poor reception and it connects once in a while when you are in the road. Inside the building forget it.

T-Mobile has no coverage at all for this area. There are no bars of connectivity available for all of Riva Ave. traveling the entire length of the road for South Brunswick to East Brunswick.

I consistently get 5 bars at home. School is another story (1-2 bars if any reception at all). However, through experience I've learned where I do and don't get service, and I've always been able to find service when I need it. I've also never had any dropped calls once connected.

Left Sprint 3 years ago as their signal degenerated to the point where the phone was unusable. AT&T signal was consistently better than average for three years but I just moved to Verizon. Signal is OK. Doesn't seem as strong as the AT&T signal. The problem in East Brunswick is that the municipal government won't allow any new towers to be built. Towers in area are too far apart for consistent coverage. New development also seems to pull down signal and lack of new towers means that service will continue to degrade. Time to petition the town council?

It is a struggle everyday to get cell phone service in our home on Wooten Court... but the dead zone in East Brunswick extends out Lonczak Lane to Ryders Lane. Some days we can't get a text message out! We've called Verizon and they said they can't do anything about it.
