Had T-Mobile for over 9 years, ever since it was first Voicestream. Reception outside of my work building and at my house is decent to good. Once I get into my own building where I spend a good portion of my day (11am-12am)... . there is no reception past 10 feet. The building is long, which I understand, but I cannot deal with a few more years with this. I know for sure that Sprint and Verizon works well past 20-30 feet, so I am contemplating either carrier. If it wasn't for the two year contracts with T-mobile, I would've been changed my carrier.

I get good reception in my brick apartment building! AT&T has a bad rap. I find their service great

Even though T-Mobile doesn't work in my basement it still makes better calls than Verizon Wireless. When I have friends over the person on the line can't hear them and yet I with no service can. Yet T-Mobile has its flaws it still has really good reception in the area.

I've used Samsung and the reception is good in my apartment but not clear to the other party but with my Sanyo 8100 (Sprint's most popular phone) I sound like I am on my landline phone to most people and it is always clear and never a drop called. I used to have AT&T Motorola and I would have to stand by the window and no move to get at least 2 bars. Very happy with my Sprint Service and Sanyo 8100

My son went thru all of the companies and none of them work as good for him and even my self as Sprint.. Now I can get signal in the bathroom, kitchen and everyone else including the elevator in my apartment building.. He live in California and when I visit, I always have 4 to 5 and no drop calls..

Nextel is getting better before the merge I couldn't really get signal in my building. now at least I get three bars

No problem here. Generally good.

I get 1-2 bars inside (sometimes none), same outside. I drive 1/4 mile down the road and I get 5 bars.

Reception is pretty good outdoors, except on the weekends. So much for free weekends huh? Reception inside my house is garbage, i'm better of using smoke signals. In Cranford/Westfield area reception sucks , in the college i seem to be the only one without reception. I'm considering going with Verizon what do you guys think? Anyways overall T-Mobile is descent, very good billing and helpful customer service.Reception is OK in my area.
