Okay reception, but definitely not what it should be for this area. Most of the people that I know from this area have Verizon.. therefore it would be a smart decision on their part to put a tower in close to town where many people could benefit. Downtown by all the shops and restaurants, I get all bars everywhere.. but the further you move away from town, the worse the reception gets. Inside my home, my phone is often searching for service in the basement while it has 1 or 2 bars constantly on the main floor. My office and laptop is all set up downstairs so it'd be nice if I could make / recieve important calls, texts, and emails while working from home. Now, when you're on the very top level of my house.. the reception is very good.. 3 bars usually and 4 or 5 on a really, really good day.

My signal will often read a high signal... until I try to make or receive a call that is. Then it drops down to only one or two bars and 9 times out of 10 it drops the call before I can even say a word to the person on the other end. Sometimes I'm lucky and it lets me actually make a call but more often than not the call is dropped not long after I get on the phone. My record length for a call not being dropped is about 5 minutes. It's very frustrating to pay a lot of money to the company that claims to have the best coverage and not be able to get any coverage at all in my own area.

The street intersection is a low spot. The phones usually show weak reception but often display a "No Service" indication. The situation is the same indoors and outdoors. The phone will ring when a call comes in, but the calls are usually dropped as soon as I answer. Had the same problem with my old Nokia 2180.
