I have never had problems with my service until I moved to Hoboken. Verizon has replaced my phone twice and I still constantly lose calls in my apartment. I got better service in the middle of no where than hoboken.

T-Mobile's reception is the worst. Everyone who comes to our apartment is able to get cell phone reception, except T-Mobile users. Their customer service has been tanking over the years too. Got to ditch these guys.

For the most part I get 3-4 bars (4 is the max)... however, if I venture towards Stevens, my reception slowly starts to be sucked away... who would have thought, the higher you are the worse service you get lol

Gotta agree... T-Mobile is lacking. I can only get reception in the front room (washington street side) but not full strength, no bars whatsoever in the back of the apartment.

No problems at all in my apartment on the north side of the Tea Building. In fact, I've never noticed drop outs anywhere in Hoboken on Cingular.

Once Cingular aquired AT&T the reception has been good indoors and out. I think Verizon would be the only competitor, but Verizon is very expensive comparably speaking. Cingular is a good deal, but the customer service isn't so great.

I get reception almost all the time, but the phones suck. I am switching to the GSM network for the new BlackBerry 7100 phone / PDA. I hope the service is as good.

Frustrating. I actually just got the new smaller BlackBerry 7100t and reception is a bit worse than my previous 7230. In my apartment "Searching for Network" then up to one, maybe two bars. That's it. I also get crappy signal around Adams St. and 5th. Everywhere else it's fine.

I generally get decent coverage, but by the water I will go from full bars to a dropped call without explanation. Verizon is clearly the best choice in Hoboken, but could use some serious improvement.

My phone only works in the back two rooms of my condo which face East. West front side of my condo has no reception. When I pull into my garage the phone goes dead. Considering Verizon but love my phone!

T-Mobile sucks. I mean the phones are nice, and the reception is excellent only outside. What if i need to make an emergency call in my building because I'm stuck in my elevator, or I wanna take advantage of my free night minutes
in my house? I can't, because I have no bars in my house. The prices people like myself pay for these phones, you would think you can get service anywhere.

Reception for Verizon Wireless in Hoboken is strong at times, non-existant at others. It's simply not reliable, but then again, I can't think of a single carrier that is. Verizon is still the choice of Hoboken, but it still has a long way to go.
