In the summer forget about making a call on the beach. The network is always busy. If you walk down the street a little you may be able to get service. When you do have service on the beach and it is windy, the call goes in and out and theres static. Other times when the network is working and it isn't windy, you could make a clear call with about 5 bars of service. I would just look into Sprint or Cingular.
