Signal has improved significantly in last couple of years. I now get 3-4 (out of 5) bars indoors in this area whereas I used to get 1-2 bars and occasional dropped calls before '04.

Reception is awful - I've had 2 different Motorola phones with TMobile but no reception in this area - the closer you get towards homes in this area, the worse the reception becomes. I also have ATT (Motorola V60) and the reception is much better.

Service / reception is a joke... .lucky to get one bar or if you get through to have the call stay connected for > 15 seconds. Blackberry (GPRS) over Cingular stinks too!
