What is going on with Cingular? Bad coverage where there used to be great coverage? They are in the same category as Comcast and Verizon... . they reek of corporate greed. I always had great reception in my home with Cellular One and then Cingular since 1992. And within one day in November 2004, the reception went from great to nothingness with the occasional spike of full bars. What the heck is that all about? Try to get those idiots at Cingular to explain that one. They will blame anything and anyone but blame themselves.. PURE GREED.

Yep. Horrible reception in my apartment.. If I would like to acutally have a shot in having the conversation I have to go on my porch for some 2-bar action. (with only an occational call drop)

How do you go from 4 to 0 bars standing still with a $300 phone, with no clear explanation from Cingular. When it has four bars calls are crystal clear when it drops to two bars expect the call to get warbled or disconnected. This happens much to frequently. From excellent coverage to no coverage. It takes 7 tries to connect. I been a Cingualr customer for only two months but I'm going back to Verizon. I'll pay the early termination fee so I can get back to Verizon. I saw the Razr V3 and thought it would be a great phone. It is but Cingular service is sporadic. Since I only have a cell phone its important that it works consistently. Allover Network? All over what? All over the place expect where its needed!

In my home, the signal is non existent 90% of the time and sporadically spikes to full bars. Strange because I have had Cingular / CellularOne Service for years, and always had awesome reception up til the middle of Nov 2004. Of course, when I leave my house area by 4/5 miles, reception is good again. I just dumped Cingular. For me, the most important areas for great recption is your home and workplace.

Signal strength is spotty at best. Calls are consistently dropped. Tried several model Verizon phones at location-none worked well. Apparently a "dead spot" for Verizon. Interestingly Cingular and Sprint are able to work in the building.
