Decent reception, but for the last few weeks, calls drop after several minutes. It's really annoying and I can't even have a simple five minute conversation with anyone.

Reception very average, fading in and out of calls. Never more than one or two bars of service. Thinking about switching to Sprint... .decision driven by cost.

If you want GSM in Plainsboro, NJ, there is only one option i.e. ATT. The service is average and I get 2-3 bars. However, sometimes, the bars keep on switching between 0 to 2. I work in Princeton where ATT has very good coverage. Overall, its OK in Plainsboro.

There is a spot of "no reception" on Dey Rd between Rt 130 and Scott's Corner Rd. I commute on Dey Rd. I don't make or answer any phone call around that area because I know I will be cut off.

I generally had more than 2 1x bars the entire time. 3g (EV) is extremely shaky and I would go from 4 bars EV to absolutely none in a course of a day. Verizon really needs to improve EV coverage here

I get 3 bars easy in my house. Right now and almost all the time, I get 4 bars. -85dBm On my Treo I get 3G and 3 Bars everywhere. AT&T + Plainsboro = 4 bars.

Good Service... .It can be patchy on some roads inside the Ravens Crest Apartements 2 to 3 bars and you can still make a call with it being clear.

Good reception at Hunters Glen apartment complex and at the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (Forrestal Campus).

With ATT I never had a signal problem. Always 4 or 5 bar signal.

For years this has been a problem, I used to live in Plainsboro,NJ for 15 years and originally I had Verizon service the reception was excellent but I though Verizon plans were to pricey for me so I switch to T mobile, at the time I used to commute to NY a lot and service was good but when I was home on weekends there was virtually no service 0 bars inside my deer creek apartment and even when I went outside there was maybe 1 or 2 bars this was a problem then, I no longer live in Plainsboro,NJ I moved to Elkton,MD 5 year ago where the reception is excellent. What bothers me is that all these years since I lived there this continues to be a problem and no one is doing anything about. I recently switched to Cingular but then dumped then due to their stupid policies and and addon charges and went back T mobile I am happy with them after all.

I have great reception inside and out. Verizon is just as good, but AT&T and Cingular is shaky. Many people in my complex must step outside their apartments to talk on AT&T - this was my experience in the past as well

It's horrible. I miss calls all the time, drop them like crazy, and have to play the "can you hear me now" game with every call I make.

I read most of the T-Mobile complaints and I have to tell you that I was able to cancel the agreement. T-Mobile came out to test the connection, granted it took 3 months to eventually get them to cancel but the bottomline is they did! Beware if you received a free phone, you will have to pay for it. I ended up paying $150 because of the phone not because I cancelling the service. If you have had the free phone past the year then cancelling the service will be free. I hope this was helpful. I now have Verizon and I can only make / receive calls by the windows but at least I have service.

Service is generally OK along Plainsboro Road. Some area further away from Plainsboro center seems have problem. e.g. inside WWP High School North

There is no signal on my mobile as I get to Scott's corner road from route 1 S. This is reall pathetic.

Verizon woeks though their phones and plans sucks... but bottomline, it works all the places!

Service was great months ago but lately (within 6 weeks), service suffers on weekends. Make a call with 3-4 bars but "Signal Faded" happends within 1 minute. Goes into Roaming mode while on Cranbury Rd. en route to PJ Train Station. Maybe my phone is showing its age.

I've gone through Cingular & Sprint! I have full service with Verizon all over Plainsboro.

While most of Plainsboro does not permit good connections with T-mobile, the south/east side of the town from the New Jersey turnpike, Rt. 130 , Dey Road to Plainsboro town has decreasing intensity of connections. Within Ravens Crest drive,there is absolutely no reception.
