	I had to go out into my backyard to talk and it STILL dropped calls constantly. I would not recommend Spring or Plateau unless you want continuously dropped calls.

	Alltel phone and air card service is good now in Carlsbad, NM. 4 to 5 bars. I'm sure the divestiture will ruin it. The only place that I have been completely without service is Brady, TX.

	Alltel has very good coverage in Carlsbad and surrounding area's. Sprint and Plateautel (local cell provider) don't have as good coverage, but their plans are a little cheaper (but not that much)

	Very good reception. You have reception all the way to Roswell and all the way to El Paso. You don't have any from Carlsbad to Hobbs, because the land on the sides of the Hobbs highway is federal property. Once you hit Hobbs you have service wherever you go.
