This is a work issued phone so I had no choice in the service provider. Most of the time my phone reads "no service". I have to run around the house / yard to find a signal and if it happens to ring and the call doesn't drop I can't move a hair without risking losing the call. Not exaggerating -- if I happen to get a signal I can't move the phone from one ear to the other! If you live in the Las Cruces area you are better off with anything but Nextel.

I just moved here and have Sprint service. I get many dropped calls. I have very poor reception inside home. I have to go outside for calls. Wireless internet is very slow. I've been informed that this area is not within Sprint's high speed network.

The only area we can make or receive calls is outside on our driveway. We have contacted Verizon and they say the only way to solve this is to allow a tower to be set up on our property.

Constant dropped calls, wife's phone receives no incoming calls and go straight to voicemail. Reception in two areas in my home and three outside that don't last long and get dropped. Verison said they will pruchase the tower ontop of A mountain but that has been over a year ago. Now they say they don't know when or if it will ever happen. I am switching to maybe T-Mobile since AT&T doesn't work well either. Very frustrating that we are paying full price for a very poor reception. That is corporate America for you. I am also considering OOMA as a landline that is free forever throughout the US but you have to purchase the $250 unit that connects to your internet.
