choppy voice reception at best... lots of dropped calls..very frustrating

Verizon has confirmed there is a major outage in New Mexico and other states no ETA when it will be fixed

Called and they told me they had an outage in New Mexico and said it would be another 24hrs. They will credit my account for time lost time.

Wifi Hotspot with Verizon's Mifi is horrible. Honestly I think Dialup would be faster. This hotspot probably works great if you are close to a tower, but not here. Will discontinue service- why pay for something that you are not getting? Also, Verizon Wireless service in the valley has gotten horrible lately (within the last month or so)- even before that, it was hit and miss. The lack / poor signal drains my phone like crazy, and the number of dropped calls that I get are more than 7-10 per week. Find some other carrier with better towers in the Tome / Valencia county area if you use verizon.

Do not believe T-Mobile, AT&T, nor Verizon or Qwest they say they have service here but all you will get is dropped calls, Tome is very bad as is Marigold Dr.in Las Maravillas, they all say we have great service here then after you are STUCK in a contract they tell you we are in a dead ZONE and they have not idea if or when we will be getting receiption. Verizon is very back at least 8-10 dropped call during on call every day. Complaining to Tech. Support and customer service for these carrier does no good.

Don't go with T-Mobile or At&T no reception and lots of dropped called all over Tome, Los Lunas and Belen and on the way to Albuquerque always loosing calls. Don't believe there adverts on tv or radio they have sucky service. They say they don't have the money to upgrade Los Lunas, Tome receiption.

T-Mobile has great reception at almost any spot in the metro Albuquerque to Belen area. The only 'drop' spots are the swamp in Isleta, and a couple holes in the far NE Heights.

AT&T has terrible reception in certain parts of Los Lunas, Peralta, and Bosque Farms. We have AT&T company phones at work and they don't even get service at our own office. We have to have a microcell in our office to boost service and it doesn't work very well. I drop 5-10 WORK calls a day. It will get service in odd places in the middle of nowhere though. I never had these problems in any of these areas with Tmobile.

I have had Sprint for quite a while and have always had poor reception... I am currently in "roaming" status at my home... earlier today I had Sprint coverage. I have a lot of dropped calls or poor reception at home. An area where I can count on getting dropped calls is near the Isleta Casino when I drive to Albuquerque.

I get fantastic [EDGE] coverage all over Los Lunas, 5 or 4 bars everywhere.

Hardly ever get calls. Sometime go directly to voicemail... only to be notified several hours later... IF we get any reception / bars they are usually short lived and calls are lost. I have even gotten the AIRAVE, at their suggestion, only to then be told it doesn't work in our zip code. Sprint, ABQ. replaced my phone several times but they all were just as bad. In addition, battery problems with all of the razr phones.

The only time my calls are dropped is when I'm driving through the Isletta Reservation. Otherwise, my reception is good.

cingular has far better reception for this area, or albuquerque or belen than what I had with cricket or tmobile.
