Since I have moved to Radium Springs, NM, the reception from AT&T is almost nil. I can get one bar of reception in the house if I place the phone in certain areas and at certain angles. Most of the time in order to make or receive a call I have to stand outside by the front door in the high heat to talk to someone and then if I move a degree or at another angle, the service goes out. I was with Alltel and never had a problem. AT&T is one of the worst companies on this planet. I have talked with customer service numerous times over the last three months and have gotten different stories from everyone I have talked with. Their reps want to get you off the phone as quickly as possible and so they will tell you anything to appease you or they pass you from one rep to the next and then you have to explain the entire scenario over again. First I was told it was a tower problem and that would soon be remedied. Then I was told the deal with Alltel will not be complete until July 17th. July 17th came and went and the situation got worse. No one there knows what is going on in that company. Now AT&T and Verizon are trying to take over T-Mobile like they did Alltel. I encourage everyone to contact the FCC and the Dept. of Justice to put a stop to this. They are monopolizing the wireless market and violating antitrust laws. If they are allowed to take over another cellular company, wireless fees, which are already exorbitant, will continue to escalate and there will be even less choices for cellular service than there is now.

Traveled by car from LA. Calif to Richmond, Virginia no real problems any where. Great coverage... In New Mexico Las Cruces to Santa FE coverage all the way. Las Cruces to Lordsburg no problem.
