FINALLY! I get 4G 2 bars reception at my home. Apparently Verizon must have recently upgraded the tower antennas / equipment in this area. Anybody else experienced this as well?? It's mid-January 2017 now, and for the last few months or more I only got a signal strength of 3G 1 bar at my home and outside my home, which has caused DROP CALLS, MISSED CALLS, SLOW TEXTING. No high obstructions in this area that could interfere with reception. As soon as I got out of the neighborhood, on the main street, signal went to 4G 2 bars. Went through the whole trouble shooting procedure with Verizon techs on the phone... ..phone fine / sim card fine / reboot no change / wifi at home strong signal etc. etc. So one tech mentioned that Verizon had upgrades scheduled for the antennas in this area for 1st. quarter of 2017. RESULTS: signal strength 4G LTE -103dBm 2-3 bars, 1X -92dBm 3 bars. SOUNDS FAMILIAR?? I was almost tempted to switch carriers, till I noticed the improved reception. Was this review helpful to you?
My son hasn't had reception at this location in 8 or 9 days. its almost always really horribly weak to begin with, he has an iPhone 5& I've got a Motorola X pure, I'm able to get calls at least 60% of the time, if we didn't have in home Wi-Fi we wouldn't be able to do anything on our phones whatsoever. this is absolutely criminal, there's a cell tower directly at the end of the complex to the south east of us its not even the length of two City blocks away and the reception has been nothing but horrible for the four years I've lived here,. 2absolute b*******Was this review helpful to you?

I will publish the results in the media how frustrating is the low reception have my family cellulars at home, I just move from sprint, I will never recomend T mobiles phone service, I'll request to customer service to have a solution to this problem. Was this review helpful to you?
I have used Sprint for several years. I have absolutely no problems with the service. I am using the latest HTC phones and found the LTE bands do a good job for reception. The cost has been cheaper than Verizon who I dropped for my wife's phone. Verizon was pricey and actually lower in reception bars than Verizon on the same type of cell phone. Was this review helpful to you?
T-Mobile drop calls iPhone does not ring or show calls and ofte go outside to improve signal. This is not a rural or sparsely populated region. I am very disappointedWas this review helpful to you?
I have had Verizon for 3 years. I am tied to them because I have family in a remote area that doesn't offer any other option on my plan. I cannot talk on my phone! I have called Verizon 20 times. I got a new phone, a network booster, upgraded my cable, etc etc etc. they have been out here to observe 3 times. I will receive s text after they leave that says the issue has been resolved, and nothing changes. I finally got a land line because I literally can't hold a call. It's infuriating because every time I call customer service, a Rep wants to start from scratch and they do NOTHING to improve it. If you are in the 89052 around Coronado Highschool, do NOT get Verizon. I'm beyond frustrated. Leigh SauerWas this review helpful to you?
Suddenly in September 2016 my phone drops calls or I can hear them with static and they can never hear me. We have WI FI and a Verizon mini tower in our house. We were blaming the wind but it's been three weeks and the wind is gone but no change. I have a fairly new LG Android phone that is great everywhere else. What's going on?Was this review helpful to you?
Weak weak signal. And I am up on a hill with a view of the whole valley. You would think I would have 5 bars all the time instead of 2Was this review helpful to you?
Cell phone signal is one bar, sometimes 2 bars if you're lucky. Dropped calls are common. Blackout zones common. Worst blackout zone is driving towards Vons! Was this review helpful to you?
