I've been told that I'm between two towers and that is why I have no service at my home. If I'm actually willing to stand in my back yard with my cell phone raised above my head with my hands-free, I can sometimes get 1-2 bars for a few minutes... . What a pain!

I've been very impressed with my T-Mobile reception! I work on the strip (at Tropicana) and get 5 bars even in the basement location of my office! I used to have Verizon (and a Samsung phone) and never got a signal at work, even when I was on the casino level. With T-Mobile I get 5 bars 97% of the time and the lowest I've gotten is 4 bars (usually in my home at Decatur and Harmon). I also travel frequently to Henderson and get 5 bars there too (at the 215 and Gibson). The combination of T-Mobile and a Motorola phone is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Several months ago I was having lots of dropped calls and message problems but that seems to be gone now. I think the phone you own has quite a bit to do with your reception. T-Mobile has coverage issues for sure, something to think about befor getting into a contract with them AND the customer service is "ok to poor" as well.. The could use a revamp in that area! Over all I am happy with T-Mobile.

Since the merger with AT&T and a rollout of a new network they are working on, when they moved us from their legacy system to the 'New and Improved' system, it got worse. Dropped calls, calls rolling right into voice mail, minimal to no reception - just didn't make sense. Had them switch us back to the legacy system and it works pretty good - not great, but better then average. All carriers need to figure out how to make this work - only if the FCC wouldn't stop the technology out there from reaching the US, maybe we could have Great Service with any or all of the carriers...

Ok so in my house some days just great then other days no reception at all. None, zero, zip. I get messages hours even days later even though my phone was on the entire time. I had Sprint for years in Washington State and had pretty good service overall even in rural areas, then come to a BIG city and expect better service, but no way. All smoke and mirrors. Traveling around the city not bad most of the time except near high power lines or around mountians or out at the lake or driving from here to CA or here to AZ or here to... ..get the message? I then called and have spoken with customer service who keeps blaming my phone, but then tells me if I bring it in they will check it with the computer to re-program and should be ok after that. NOT! SCAM.

There appears to be lower number of towers on this side of city with many tall buildings and hospital to interfere with transmission from my home. I can go 200 yards north (outside my complex) and have perfect reception. This is a major dead spot. Many dropped calls and broken transmissions even early AM on weekends.

Spoke to T-Mobile and basically they dont care if you get the lowest color grade service - you are in contract and they do not credit dropped calls. So If my cell phone dosent work in my home office what good is it? The whole 14 day talk or walk needs to be fixed because there is no way to accurately check of a phone gets the coverage you need based on your daily travels in two weeks. Jason

Verizon is the Best in Las Vegas. We had T-Mobile and Alltel. No doubt Verizon is doing the most improvements on their systems. And are continuing to improve every area that they are improving wherever they take over. They use to be lousy in Denver, Co.. But last time we visited it was clear as a bell! GO VERIZON!

Poor reception overall. I probably get 1 bar on average at home and perhaps 2 with roaming. Calls are dropped all the time at home.
