-113dBm standing OUTSIDE here, absolutely horrible - don't try to make calls inside. Barely any reception at Bermuda and Silverado ranch either where T-Mobile is registering -60dBm! However there is one spot where reception is good and that's at my home in Southern Highlands where T-Mo is marginal at best. Otherwise T-Mobile has far more coverage in southern Las Vegas and probably in other parts.

This area is a bad spot for T-Mobile, but otherwise T-Mobile is great elsewhere.

Verizon coverage is terrible in most of the Pueblos. There seem to be no towers in this corridor. As soon as I turn off Lake Mead or Vegas Drive, phone begins to blank out, along with applications like Slacker, Pandora, etc. Standing in front of my home, my signal is around -102 to -110 dBm. Unacceptable. Friends that have AT&T seem to be able to make calls just fine from INSIDE my home! To be beaten by AT&T is ludicrous!

Verizon... what a joke. I lived in Northern nevada and had no problems with Verizon, and then I move to SoNev and experience at least 5-10 dropped calls a day. Even when I stand in one place, I can actual watch the reception bars on the phone rise and fall until service is droppped completely. How many important calls have I been on that dropped??? Too many to count. My new motto: Drop Verizon before it drops you!

Lived in this area for just over four years. Have had Verizon, poor, T-mobile, poor and for the past year an AT&T iPhone 3G. Very poor reception. Needless to say, the iPhone really is only good for data via my home Wi-Fi set up.

Phone service is really good but 3G is almost non-existent and my $400.00 G1 freezes up when loading webpages almost everyday. I must shut it down, remove the battery and start it up again. T-Mobile tell sme I have great reception and will not let me out of my two year agreement nor will they give me any credit for lost service. I have 9 months left and I'm gone T-Mobile. I'll sell my G1 and go to AT&T where I'll get an I-Phone and get real internet service.

Sprint works great down in the Paris casino and convention area, but works terribly in the rooms! I'm on the 15th floor and drop calls every two minutes or less on my cel phone. I've got Sprint PC card that hardly works either. This sucks! I can't believe it. It makes me wonder if they have some sort of block on cell phone frequency in rooms to encourage people to use their phones and paid internet.

I have to stay in a certain room in my house just to make calls. When outside in the neighborhood driving or walking, I have to stop to make a call. What's the use of having a cell when you can't use it wherever needed. The sad part is that there is a Verizon Tower not more than 2 miles from my neighborhood and the signal stinks.

I've had Verizon for about 10 years now and when I lived below Nellis Blvd.the reception was awsome and is anywhere in town. When I moved to the area of said school, I get little to no reception as I walk from room to room in my house. Also when I drive or walk around by neighborhood it's spotty at best. Once I get past, east of, Nellis Blvd.I could stay on the phone for hours and never loose the signal or drop the call unless I go back up towards my house. I have called Verizon tons of times during the 5 years I've lived in that area and they say the same thing every time, it's your phone. Well, it's not because my wife has a brand new RAZR and it does it too. There is a site at the top of the hill but for some reason the signal stinks. I thought of buying a repeater for the house but, what about when I'm out in the car or walking the neighborhood. Oh well.

While they told me the reception here is terrific, my phone harldy gets a signal in my house... just down the block from a Sprint store. When I lived in Southern Highlands, the phone didnt get reception there either and again, they said it was a strong reception area. They had me change the roaming to Sprint only and still, calls drop regularly or no reception is found. The web also drops. Been with Sprint 10 years and always had dropped calls and was always told they improved reception... finally, I am done! Too bad they suck so much as I liked the Samsung Instinct :O(

Lousy freaking reception because AT&T is too cheap to put up more Cell Towers in the neighborhood. We call this area "The Dead Zone" because your AT&T phone is worthless!

Addendum to previous post, T Mobile has a website to view current usage which is great; however, the website seems to be undergoing routine maintenance all the time. It updates rather slowly sometimes and today, it just won't even load at all.
