I get no service at all, really stupid = / highly frustrated just days ago I had perfect service everywhere and just yesterday I started gettin no service at my house
Unlike some places I have gone or lived in Las Vegas, the reception in the house actually works with seldom a dropped call. Unfortunate that ATT does not work in the rampart casino. Sprint seems to be the only carrier that works in the bowels of the casino. Otherwise I like ATT. Resonable coverage and does not pull features from the phones like most of the other carriers (except the iPhone - BOO ATT)
I have T-Mobile in Southern Highlands, I am closer to Cactus and really can't complain, I don't have (or notice maybe) many dropped calls. Overall, very happy with T-Mobile and the rates are better than some others. My thing is I sometimes receive a message on my phone and I'll be wondering why I didn't get the call, But again, it seems to be infrequently, so I can live with it. I do notice my phone won't work inside some hotels. So if you're meeting someone at a hotel don't tell them you'll call when you get inside, call before going into a hotel / casino and have a meeting place. (been there done that at the Venetian) and I know my spouse who works in a casino with the same phone has to go outside to call me on his break.
I just dropped ATT recently because my $89 mo plan always ended up about $150 after they factor in all thier useless crap and fees in the end. I switched to metroPCS and it was great until I got to work at Horizon and 95. Then my service just dropped like a bad habit. I was so mad. Plus thier customer service just hangs up on you whenever you call thier support department. They are so rude and stupid untrained employees. So I went on down to cricket and switched and I get perfect reception all over town. I mean I don't drive to all corners of the city but I do go most everywhere and my service is great. They are using this new technology called AWS tri-band CDMA on thier handsets and honestly I can tell the difference, plus my battery life on my phone lasts way longer than my old GSM service. I am very pleased with cricKet and they just went nationwide with thier service so you can definately travel and use your phone wherever there is cricKet service anywhere in the US. You can go all the way down to Lake Havisu and farther and you are covered all over Laughlin, Bullhead City... ..even covered up in St. George and all the way up to Salt Lake. This is great and I am so glad cricKet moved into the neighborhood. They are way better than any service provider that I have seen here and best of all they do not lock you into a contract. Payment on my bill is even easier than good old ATT. I'm happy with cricKet, if you guys are tired of the same old line of carriers like I was give them a shot. They're worth the switch, plus I get perfect reception at my job, in the back warehouse and even on the second floor. I am soooo happy. Good luck everyone.
I only stayed with them 4 days. I could never make or receive calls, and if I could they were always dropped. I even had hotspot at home and couldn't make a call.
Verizon's coverage has been very good for me in the northwest. I get good coverage everywhere with Verizon. I'm nervous about changing to another provider.
