I get almost no reception at my house in the Paseos (Charleston west of the 215) with Verizon. My wife has Sprint (personal) and AT&T (work) and both work perfectly. Unfortunately, my phone is issued by work and I have no choice of carrier.

When we first moved to this newly developing area my phone had fine service but my husband's did not. Now that we have AT&T neither one of us gets more than one bar in the house. If we go outside we can use our phones but what a pain in the butt! I wish I knew if anyone else was any better...

Wow, after service with Verizon and getting absolutely no reception in my house inside or outside I switched to ATT, great coverage, always a signal and best of all no dropped calls!

I love T-Mobile. I never drop calls and the only place I ever have trouble getting service is at the Suncoast Casino. I think they must have some kind of Cell Call block in the place.

Wow. I was disappointed because since I moved here a little over a month ago, I'd had like 2-3 dropped calls total. I make a LOT of calls, by the way. I was getting on this website to see what the best carrier in the area was. So far, after reading a few pages of reviews, there's NO WAY I'm switching from Alltel. I've been with them for years. I traveled the nation with a security company. I'd never had any dropped calls anywhere with Alltel until I moved out here. I've only had a couple and they were all in places that, I suppose, it should be expected. If you're having trouble with your cell, give Alltel a try. I was kinda hoping that ATT was good in Vegas because I want an iPhone. I guess I'll just have to settle for a blackberry.

Christmas Day, the most important day, Verizon desides to give me a "all circuits are busy" signal and the text messages / voice mails I tried to send out x-mas morning don't get received by friends until the next day. Not only that, I only have 1x of service at the house. Not only this, but carrying insurance got me a refurbished phone where I have to press the up button really hard to go up on my contacts list. Luckly, no longer on a contract and from this site, looks like Cingular has the most towers in the area. Although I had Cingular before, Cingular never gave me as many negatives (over positives) as Verizon has.

Reception bars are a complete lie.. AT&T has major problem with GSM network. Most locations in valley have the problem that signal strength is 5 bars with intermittent (about every 1-2 minutes) the strength goes to 0. Drops call when this happens. It is ironic that they have the nerve to advertise the fewest dropped calls.. Ran into the same experience in 84032 zip (Northern Utah). However, Manhatten coverage seems to be good. For Vegas, do yourself a favor and go with T-Mobile or Verizon
