I get very poor reception at home, 1 bar if I'm lucky. I called a Verizon tech to see what they could do about it. I was told Verizon knew about the poor reception area around Hollywood and Washington and had no plans to do anything about it. There should be a law stating when a cell phone company shows you a reception / coverage map that is must show known dead zones too.

I can not make or recieve calls in or near my home. As soon as enter my community I lose reception. Verizon has done nothing to help

as a realtor I am often on the phone with clients and my reception would get cut off so frequently that I feel like an idiot. I noticed a few months ago there is a cell tower just east of blue diamond on durango, and I was estactic but my reception has not improved any. does anyone know if and when (unless it is already) it will be activated? any info would be appreciated. for the second best selling master plan in AMERICA, it is quite sad. btw, the zip is actually 89178 but the system does not recognize it for me to post so I had to change it to another one.

The reception goes between 0-3 depending on where I'm at in my house. Once I get near Sunset / Mt. Vista my converage is pretty good.

Just got the new BB Curve and I get between 3 and 4 bars deep in Southern Highlands. I'm the one that wrote the review for Verizon in the same location...

SPrint sucks. no reception. drops every EVERY CALL>

it is horrible out here. my phone is always out of service and Sprint won't let us out of our contract because they say they have a tower out here. well, the tower must be broken because I don't get service at all in my own home. sooooo annoying. we're cancelling and going to verizon. I have better things to do with my time then redial phone numbers and repeat conversations because the other person can't understand me. I HATE SPRINt.

Rarely make it through a call without dropping at least once.

Dropped calls daily. Bars bounce around from 0 to 4 consistently. I can't use the phone for business because there are so many dropped calls. My cell dropped a 911 call I made last year. I can't wait for my contract to expire. Do not buy Sprint!
