I have had constant dropped calls for 2 years. Cell to land line, cell to cell, cell to other cell carrier, in home or accross country... it doesn't make a difference... sometimes have to make 6 phone calls to finish a conversation. Had one of the phones replaced 3 x with no better results. Verizon would not work with me in replacing the phones, even though I offered to pay the difference. They just insisted that I shell out another $300 for new phones to see if that corrected the problem. Verizon customer serivce is supposed to be the tops... wrong! Goodby and good riddance is all I have to say!
Constant dropped calls. I've been a loyal customer for almost ten years and Sprint has disappointed me several times. I can hardly wait to change companies.
Sprint's coverage in this immediate vicinity is unreliable. Poor signal strength, frequently dropped calls and calls going directly to voice mail message. What's most frustrating is that coverage a year ago was excellent.
Average of 1 to no bars, pretty ridiculous with all the dropped calls. Sprint even had the nerve to open a new store right by where I live at Rainbow and the 215. Worst possible choice for phone companies, makes me mad that they would open a store right in the middle of where they get no reception for their service, customer service experience has been pretty dismal as well.
I called Verizon due to the fact that I get absolutely no service up here on any of my Verizon phones (V3M, Q, and a Nokia Pay-As-You Go). They sent my complaint to a technician that came out and did a reading for signal strength near my house, and the tech came back and said that it was bad and that Verizon had no plans in the near future to puta tower up in this area and that I'm SOL if I want to stay with them. Easy out on my contract, so I took it. Going to Cingular since they get pretty decent service up here.
I had a flip phone for almost 7 years with Sprint and it worked great until it finally broke! I just signed a new 2 year contract to get a discount of this, way too expensive" windows mobile phone. I don't even have bars, I only have the top of the cup. I also don't have any reception right in the middle of Sahara and the 15! Sprint told me to buy another phone and try it, but would not help me with any discount since I got one with this phone a few months ago. Sprint's customer service leaves something to be desired. I would rather pay the cancellation fee than stay with them!
Cingular has good service throughout the Las Vegas Valley area. Newer areas of development may have fewer towers and / or weaker / non-existent service.
