If I'm lucky, I might get one bar at my house but it comes and goes so often that phone calls are impossible. To actually use the phone I need to drive at least one mile away from my home and come down from Sunrise Mtn. In town I usually have 4 or 5 bars and can make long distance calls, usually with no problems. All in all, I don't like the service due to the fact that my phone use is limited to only those times I'm away from my home.

Worst service I have ever experienced with a cell phone, swithched from Sprint. HUGE MISTAKE! I get no service and when I do they are dropped. Terrible Customer Service also. Don't do it!

So happy I can still get out of this carrier's service. 5 days into it and at least 90% of calls have major cut outs on callers voice, and dropped calls. Some don't come thru. Unfortunately I transferred Nextel # over to Sprint, and I now have to sign a contract to return to Nextel (or any server). I wish I could just reactivate my Nextel number with them, I was contract free for years! The service was between Good and Perfect. I am worried that with the merger with Sprint, my service will not be good for long. Oh well. I have to sign with someone now. Be careful, porting your number if you don't want a contract. Probably better to get a new number and keep the old service going during your trial period. Port the number once you are sure you like the service.

Dropped calls constantly. Goes from 4 bars to none in a matter of seconds without moving locations. After 6 years with Sprint - I gotta move on. One more month on this contract.

This is one of the few problematic areas I've had with T-Mobile. The rest of the country is great.

dismal reception in house, dismal reception in driveway, little to no reception in yard. have to leave house and go min 1 block in any direction to get 3 bar signal. sometimes phone doesn't ring at all, if it does ring EVERY call is dropped within 30 seconds. EVERY call, EVERY time. prior to getting dropped every other word cuts out. I have a Motorola Razr, My wife's Nokia is only a little better (Cingular) Ever since the AT&T merger service sucks. My friend lives around the corner, he has Verizon and also gets dropped when driving past my house. is there a service provider that doesn't suck?

I have no reception at my house. It sucks to have to go outside to receive a phone call. I also drop way more calls than I used to with T-Mobile. Oh yea... Their customer service is terrible!

I just got the new "Blade" phone from Sprint, and when I get home, the phone is useless. Some days, I'll get minimal reception, other days I'll get no reception at all. It may depend on the wind or weather (possibly-- I'm no tower genius), but they need new towers out here. Like I said, my phone is useless to its capabilities, especially when that's the reason I bought though phone...

Reception is intermittent; lots of dropped calls and busy signals; I carry both Verizon and Cingular phones, and the Verizon service is far better.

As of last August 2005, only Verizon could get reception in the house, we also tried all other available carriers in the Spring of 2004.

I have had Verizon for 2 years now and I am pretty happy with the coverage. I drove across the country twice from New York to Las vegas and didn't really have any problems. Of course with my luck the place I decide to live on Jones and 215 there is no signal or hardly at that. I don't understand. There are no big obstructions around as we all know. The cell tower is no more than half a mile from my house. When I spoke to Verizon they didn't believe me becuase of the amount of cell towers that they have in vegas and they just kept telling me to update my phone. Besides this inconvenience I am happy with Verizon

T-Mobile tells us we should have no reception where we live in NW Vegas, but we have five bars, even indoors sometimes. True that there's no coverage in obscure locations, but how many carriers actually give you coverage in Red Rock Canyon or Mt. Charleston? Go T-Mobile.
