Ok so in my house some days just great then other days no reception at all. None, zero, zip. I get messages hours even days later even though my phone was on the entire time. I had Sprint for years in Washington State and had pretty good service overall even in rural areas, then come to a BIG city and expect better service, but no way. All smoke and mirrors. Traveling around the city not bad most of the time except near high power lines or around mountians or out at the lake or driving from here to CA or here to AZ or here to... ..get the message? I then called and have spoken with customer service who keeps blaming my phone, but then tells me if I bring it in they will check it with the computer to re-program and should be ok after that. NOT! SCAM.

Very poor signal in this area. Had a portable tower at Red Rock Country Club, but was taken down. Talked to other Nextel subscribers with same problem. Practicaly no coverage from the I-215 from Cheyenne to Town Center.

Sprint's coverage in this immediate vicinity is unreliable. Poor signal strength, frequently dropped calls and calls going directly to voice mail message. What's most frustrating is that coverage a year ago was excellent.

Several months ago I was having lots of dropped calls and message problems but that seems to be gone now. I think the phone you own has quite a bit to do with your reception. T-Mobile has coverage issues for sure, something to think about befor getting into a contract with them AND the customer service is "ok to poor" as well.. The could use a revamp in that area! Over all I am happy with T-Mobile.

Spoke to T-Mobile and basically they dont care if you get the lowest color grade service - you are in contract and they do not credit dropped calls. So If my cell phone dosent work in my home office what good is it? The whole 14 day talk or walk needs to be fixed because there is no way to accurately check of a phone gets the coverage you need based on your daily travels in two weeks. Jason

The poster that posted 4 times in 1 day is obviously a liar. First they had the service for less than a month and have had problems since day 1.. didn't return the phone within the return period? Are you trying to get a phone for free? You should have returned it on day 2 then they have had T-Mobile for a year and it's been going down hill Next they moved a month ago and now have no coverage. Next they bought 3 phones and they all have the same service.. duh! Obviously this person is a liar. My service hasn't changed at all in the past year. No worse. 3G coverage has increased but no new towers have gone up which is fine because I have no coverage problems.

Had Verizon and always got server busy messages. Have had AT&T 6 months and no problems. My family had switched years ago and have had no problems. Should of researched sooner so I wouldn't of wasted all my money on Verizon for no bars! AT&T is much better!

Phone service is really good but 3G is almost non-existent and my $400.00 G1 freezes up when loading webpages almost everyday. I must shut it down, remove the battery and start it up again. T-Mobile tell sme I have great reception and will not let me out of my two year agreement nor will they give me any credit for lost service. I have 9 months left and I'm gone T-Mobile. I'll sell my G1 and go to AT&T where I'll get an I-Phone and get real internet service.
