There is no reception inside any buildings in the UNR area. There is poor reception with many dropped calls outside on the UNR campus. Do NOT get Alltel as your carrier if you are going to UNR!

Almost never get reception at rattlesnake mountain area. In most of Reno I get spotty coverage, but rarely receive calls when at home.

Had an 8125 that worked most of the time not really a bother. The new Atrix works great eeven in Walmart.

Many dropped calls in this areas... my phone will ring then drop the call after a few seconds. I also miss calls completely and don't realize that I have received calls until I leave my house (and enter into a part of town that has better reception).

have had no problems in, and around reno in 15 years with att. daughter had t-mobile, and wife had verizion.both had problems.both had limited coverage areas on outskirts of reno and no service beyond.I can talk anywhere on road to quincy ca. T-Mobile had many dropped calls. I have had friends tell me that they have difficulty with AT&T reception in wingfield springs area.

Excellent Reception with very few dropped calls (less than 1 out of 100).

My phone rarely rings up here - When I get down the hill to 395 the phone beeps to let me know how many calls I missed. Many call failures all along Arrowcreek Pkwy. - no connects, disconnects, calls failed - can you hear me now? Probably NOT

No coverage in W Plumb / Hunter Lake neighborhood. Also on Mt Rose Hwy. just above Raleys, and on N McCarren near WalMart. Other than that, good coverage overall all around town, though occassional dropped calls. Sometimes doesn't work in commercial bldgs. Long waits for customer service.

very poor reception, you can see a cell tower rby this intersection, not sure if it is Cingular or other carrier. judging by reception it is not there is also a tower at 4th and McCarren still poor coverage by Cingular

Reception is fine up at my house in Grandview. Also great from the University.

Just one single bar at home and three out of the three cell phones I have none works, it drops the signal after a few seconds of comunication. I can't stand this guys, in top of that the billing they send is wrong with more than $100 dollars of overcharges. The signal, billing and customer service all suck big time and I'm very angry with this AT&T / Cingular companies I'll have to pay the early termination fees just to get rid of these crooks and maybe I can sue them later. Avoid AT&T / Cingular wireless contracts, you will regret it if not!

I have been completely unsatisified with both my Motorola and AT&T. My phone consistently shuts off mid-conversation. It also drops calls regularly. Very poor in my opinion!

It seems that no matter where I go I get 5 bars unless of course I'm at work upstairs at one of the concourses of the Airport. It seems to be this specific phone's doing though, not the provider since it doesn't have towers of its own so I can't give them credit. Instead I would reccomend anyone going with Cricket (if you really have to!) to purchase this phone since it seems like one of the few that manages to still transfer data, receive calls and send / receive texts even where my coworkers can't. It works fine in my apartment which is surrounded by tons of trees and other apartment buildings. I can't even get satellite here and this thing works. But again, it's the phone, not the provider.

i sometimes dont get reception in my own house. forget getting it in walmart! the walkie talkie works when it wants, and it drops my calls all over the place. I have taken it to the shop off longley so many times. I get text messages, sometimes a DAY later! I am so over this phone, shopping for new company to go with.

Calls are dropped frequently. Many "No Service" areas. Customer care is very poor to non-existant. Customer support as far as technical issues and fixes is even worse. A lot of contractors use this "service" here. If it wasn't for that fact, I'd change companies... in a heartbeat! There's got to be a better way!

I recently switched from ATT to Sprint. While Sprint's service is better than ATT, it's far from perfect. There are many dead zones in town... if I am driving I cannot complete a call without it being dropped at some point within 5 minutes of the start of the call. I have reception at my house but sometimes need to go outside. UNR area is OK but calls are dropped on McCarran and always dropped on Plumb between Arlington and Hunter Lake.

I have never had trouble with my Sprint Phone. It works all over McCarren and the Northwest. I even get reception in all the casinos.
