Recption varies around the house from 0 bars to 2, no 3g, and even when I do have 2 bars cannot send / recieve text or call... . The phone's capabilities are amazing, as long as you don't need to get ahold of anyone

I get very good service in my home, around the town and all through the state. Even when I go on vacation to Virginia Beach I still have 2-3 bars of service. I love verizon.

Depending on which phone model you use in this area, you are almost guarenteed service. I unfortunately live in an area between two towers, so I average between two bars and one. But everywhere else I travel, I get great service and I have honestly never went in an area through Verizon where I did not have service at all. Overall, they are very good. Just becareful when using your phone during peak hours. They like to add charges.

I am so satisfied with Verizon. I have had Cingular and friends have had others (sprint and t mobile) and none of these carriers had any reception. I would go into the store and not be able to call home. I have had no issues with Verizon in the 2 years my family has had this service. By far, this is the best carrier to go with in any of the areas around here.

Better than average coverage in village. Even among the trees on the street I can use my phone in the house. I had Sprint before and it wouldn't work at all in the village. Verizon is by far the better provider.
