I called Sprint who put me in touch with a company that supplies AirWave mobile phone boosters. Basically, it an in house receiver and gives me 5+ bars within 50 feet of the unit--which plugs into my modem or router. If you locate the unit in the center of the house it's perfect unless your cable goes out and then it's back to the 1-bar coverage that's typical in Charlton. The Airwave connects to the nearest tower via the cable modem and can also accept a VOIP phone which I have yet to try out but I'm sure it's quality would be as good or better than using a cell phone in the house. Additionally, you get a phone number with the unit so people can call you as it acts like a landline--pretty cool. The cost for all this is an additional $5 per month plus the cost of the unit--$100. Coverage for all providers is limited in the 12019 area and this was a great way around it until we can get more Sprint towers or until all the providers start cooperating and allowing anyone to use anyone elses towers.

phone service works well, but computer with AT&T hot spot gets limited reception. I manage but am frustrated at how frequently the signal is lost

Not receiving any texts or voicemails, calls come in sporadically. Able to use browser about half the time. Battery dies very quickly due to constantly searching for service.

Service is intermittent at one bar. It's very frustrating when calls frequently drop withing two or three blocks of this locastion. I'm shopping for other carriers based on my inability to use my cell phone at home.

Verizon wireless has been good for me since I have had it.. no complaints... . only complaint is, is that... when traveling to PA I will get no service... and... on my way to clifton park there is a few places where I will cearch for a min or 2.

good jsut about everywhere in upstate ny exept when gong to clifton park.. other wise great.. but I am swithcing to Verizon becaseu all my friends haveit and they say tis great
