Reception is very poor in this area. I have yet to find a carrier that has good coverage around here.

South of Middle Rd. I loose service 10-30 times a day. Dropped calls, messages received as late as 2 weeks, and sometimes not at all, also garbled voice transmision. Nextell does nothing when a service ticket is written on my acct. If I don't stay on there back they ignore you and the problem. I guess in hopes that you will just give up. Stay away from Nextel. My wife is quite pleased with her Verizon acct. Nextel stinks like low tide by Brians Bridge!

Very bad reception especially South of Middel Rd. Better reception north of Montauk Hwy. I'm still looking for new phone carrier that actually works inside the house.

Poor reception once you go south of Sunrise Highway. Singals drop several times a day.
