ATT / Cingular is not the strongest carrier in my area I get min 3 to 5 bars in doors! Out doors is no problem. I've had Verizon before and although reception was good, later in my service plan I started to get a bad signal and no reception in certain parts of the house and spotty coverage. When I had T-mobile, I was better off walking around with a walkie talkie even outdoors. There was no reception inside the house. Only outdoors and even then I would drop calls while driving or walking around town. T-Mobile is thee worst carrier in the area and the signal fluctuated from 5 bars to zero in a split second. The coverage is very spotty and poor. I was able to switch ATT / Cingluar and get out of my T-Mobile contract.

Found this site trying to find feedback on Sprint reception in Bayside. I had the Sprint phone 5 years ago and it was horrible. Wondering if it has gotten any better. I am currently a Verizon customer and immediately saw the significant increase in reception / clarity using Verizon over the old Sprint and most recently, Cingular service. I get 2 dropped calls a month compared to the 4 a week I had with Cingular. I'm not sure why the other Bayside cell users are having problems with Verizon. I will surely miss their service but I need a new phone and need to change providers to get it for free. Hope this feedback helps!

I have full bars but my connection to others is horrible. People tell me my voice bkanks out. Horrible, Horrible. Raising the bar my ass.

1 bar in house, have to stand in one spot to talk or go outside. Can't talk to members on family plan without dropped calls, too many dead zones along subway and bus routes in Queens. Reception is better in Manhattan.

Poor service in the house. works around the neigbhorhood but not near the house. Verizon has 5 bars in house, and we will not be getting T-Mobile again.

My phone is a LG VX6000. In my house I will start out with full number of bars when I open my phone, but I would get a lose signal with 20 sec. of the call. The only phone in the house that works is my wife’s Nokia 3285. I called Verizon many times. Don’t seem to help.

I have no reception in the immediate area and none in my house. I never had a problem before 6-7months ago. Verizon had said there was something going on in my area after calling them 6x! but said it was fixed. Bull! Everyone esle has Nextel and T-Mobile in my house and their phones work! Phone always goes to analog and does not ring, drops calls and I cannot make calls. I forward it to my house phone everytime I walk in the door!

It's impossible to use Verizon in my house!
