As far as cingular, I get the best of the best reception. I've had many phones in the past including the razr, p307, t226 / t316, v220, v180, v551, slvr L7, S710a and currently I own the LG CU500. For me all with perfect reception!

Calls drop constantly. GPRS detached. There is quite a big dead zone around here.

I get good reception on the upper levels in my house. My den and basement... .forget it! It's a joke!!

I recently returned my Motorola V60s for an LG VX7000BK which I gave to my son, and took his Motorola V265. Now my Verizon service is great. My old phone couldn't get half the signal I get with this one. But I still say Verizon's Customer Service sucks.

My company switches carriers every once in a while. At first I couldn't wait for Verizon but now that I have it, I hate it. I always get dropped calls and low reception while everone else has all signal strength. My family has the LG VX6000 and the Motorola V265 and there reception is excellent. They could be standing right next to me and they could have all bars and I could have none. When I went to Verizon they just gave me a new phone of the same model and upgraded software, it still stinks.They plan to give me a new phone but Verizon's customer service is horrible.
