We had moderate reception up to mid July. Verizon claims thar Rural Celular provided the service and that they closed the towers. Read on the internet tht Verizon bought Rural Cellular! Go figure! They will not release me from my contract as it's not my residence. (bought the phone to keep in touch with home when I was in camp. Next to useless now.)

We vacation at Blue Mountain Lake every summer. A few years ago we could get reception. This summer, absolutely nothing! Our friends had Cingular and said they could get reception at times.
