Signal was strong until about a week ago, now no signal, on either of two (different model) phones.

All bars show on the phone but constant dropped calls and no coverage in Briarcliff Manor. I do not receive calls either - I get a voice mail message afterwards.

Nextel sucks at our home. Only works in part of the house, drops calls, need to press face against window in dining room.

I recently switched to Verizon after listening to people rave for years about the quality of their network. So far I'm very disappointed. Coverage is very spotty in this area. I'm constantly losing my connection as I enter the Chilmark Park area. Reception in my house is lousy... at best. I was a long-time Sprint customer before switching (I switched because they don't have a blackberry device). Their service and reception was far superior to Verizon's coverage in this area. I'm probably going to switch back and figure out another option for my Blackberry.

Cingular digital service is very strong in this area. Tried Verizon Wireless and got no service at all. Cingular tower located on top of water tower on nearby hill.
