My call is always dropping. I'll look at my phone before I make a call and I'll have all my bars. Then as soon as my call gets connected, I lose all my bars and my conversation lasts for 10 seconds, if that! The reception is just as bad outside. I'm switching to either Cingular or Verizon. STAY AWAY FROM SPRINT AND NEXTEL!

First off, let me just say that I used to have Nextel which sucked. For some strange reason, I didn't get service in the middle of my kitchen. Anyways, I switched to Verizon, and I have yet to get a dropped call. My bill is a little high(but then again I received a $900 bill from Nextel... I know, that's ridiculous!), but it's worth it! I hear Verizon and Cingular are by far the best, so I recommend getting one of them. As for service in my area, like I said, I have yet to get a dropped call, and if I did, it was because the person I was talking to had NEXTEL... My service is always clear, and while I may not have five bars, it's perfectly fine with 2 or 3.

The amount of POOR reception and lost / dropped calls has been getting out of control. Last summer of 2004, I was always able to get Good reception when I was outside, BUT the winter of 2004, the reception was POOR inside and outside AS WAS this summer of 2005 and is now beginning for the winter of 2005.

I think Verizon has great service all most everywhere I travel even out of state, however everytime I travel to Deer Park I always get very poor reception, I get 1-2 bars when I stand outside, and I usually 1 bar inside a house, plus I get dropped calls.

Had Nextel for several years. Reception fluctuates from 0 to 5 bars. The radio is worse, especially inside. Weather even effects us. Since we got the i730s, its even worse. And tech support is even worse now. They intentionally close the calls to make you go away. And thats a fact.

Sprint service in the Suffolk County Area of Long Island generally good. Internet access however varies upon locale. Can even vary depending on which side of street you are on. But phone reception is generally quite reliable. Service in other parts of country range from very good to non-existent. Used phone in Canada with very good results but you are always on digital roam, which can be expensive.

Verizon is the best reception from inside to outside. Worth the money and worth the spending. I just switched from T-Mobile to Verizon and now no more dropped calls.

The reception here is great. Compared to AT&T WS and Cingular the reception for T-Mobile is better.
