For Sullivan county; Monticello, Liberty, down to southern tip (near Middletown) Verizon is basically the only useable service. Surprised, due to the local geography (catskill mtns, top of the appalachians) usually don't have to go more then 20-30 ft walking around to get clearest possible immediate reception. Again pretty good service for undeveloped area. still charges for any dropped calls occur, and you have to fight them for the credits, practically citing date time and horoscope for the service rep monkeys. All in all can't be sure i'm happy cause only service locally. but works in most other places in NY too (rochester, buffalo, potsdam, albany, binghamton, westchester, all of NYC[except for between highrises, but what do you expect, the satellites gonna follow you around haha])
